Mike Sturm

MA, Northern Illinois University, Student in Philosophy BA, Northern Illinois University, Philosophy (minor in Art)
I have been studying philosophy extensively for four years now. My interests lie mainly in Political Philosophy, Epistemology, and Philosophy of Mind. I also intend to bring back Whitehead's process metaphysics. After obtaining my MA, I plan to complete my doctoral studies and become a professor in Philosophy. My basic motivation is this: when I got to college I liked it so much, I didn't want to leave. There are two things I love more than anything in this world, and they are philosophy and good conversation. So if you are armed with a thirst only those things can quench, come down and talk to me. Otherwise, if you have a question about the learning center or anything in it, I'm here for you. Simply stated, the job I have is the best job a student could have at this university, because of this, I am usually a cheerful fellow. So don't hesitate to ask me for help, and I vow that I will do all within my power, and then a bit more, to make sure your language learning center experience goes smoothly.
