The International House Advisory Board represents a cross section of disciplines and departments at Northern Illinois University (Foreign Languages and Literatures, Southeast Asian Studies, Political Science, International Programs and Housing and Dining). The purpose of the Advisory Board is to help provide guidance in the selection of extra-curricular and academic programming that impacts both International House residents and the greater university community.
The members of the Board bring a unique perspective to NIU and help empower international students to establish a home away from home at the University. For new international students the Board serves as a point of entry into the multifaceted world of Northern Illinois University.
